White Tara’s tantric practice offers a profound opportunity for transformation. Through receiving White Tara’s blessings, we make a special connection with this Buddha of Long Life and discover her wise, peaceful, compassionate qualities within ourselves.

This event has three parts:
- The Blessing Empowerment
- Commentary to the Empowerment and Practice
- Group Prayers with Guided Meditation
The empowerment, commentary and guided meditation practice will be given by our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Choma. This event is suitable for anyone wanting to draw closer to Buddha and grow their spiritual potential.
Everyone is welcome.

Gen Kelsang Choma is the most senior American nun within the New Kadampa Tradition of Modern Buddhism in the US. A close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, she has studied extensively on the Teacher Training Program for 35 years, and is qualified to teach both Sutra and Tantra. She is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco and is often invited to teach nationally. People enjoy her teachings for their clarity and warmth. |
What is an Empowerment:

This empowerment is a sublime guided meditation through which we develop a relationship with a particular Buddha and form an extraordinary vision of spiritual transformation for ourselves and our world. Through this guided meditation and blessings, we become empowered to nurture our own innate potential for wisdom, which dispels the darkness of our inner confusion and gives us the pure happiness of mental peace.
