Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Choma is one of the most senior teachers and nuns within the New Kadampa Tradition of Modern Buddhism. A close disciple of the founder of our tradition, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, she has studied extensively on the Teacher Training Program for over 30 years. Gen Choma has been the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco for 15 years, and has helped found centers around the country. Beloved for her ability to simplify the complex, she is often invited to teach nationally. People enjoy her teachings for their clarity, warmth and wisdom. |
Foundation Program Teachers

Judith Sweet teaches our Thursday morning Foundation Program class, and other classes and events. She is a student in the Teacher Training Program and has taught classes at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco and its branches for over 10 years. Judith loves exploring, both personally and in teaching, the practical application of Buddha's teachings to our everyday lives and problems, and is appreciated for her warmth and sincerity. |

Eva Brzeski teaches our Wednesday evening Foundation Program class, as well as other classes and events. She is a student in the Teacher Training Program. Eva began studying and practicing Buddhist teachings in 2004. She is well-loved for her relatable experience and thoughtfulness. Through her teaching, Eva shows the joy of living a spiritual life. |
