KMC SF Increases Accessibility to its Historic 1918 Temple During Mid-Summer 2026 Closure 

Dear Friends and Supporters of KMC San Francisco,

Committed to making Kadam Dharma available to all, Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco is embarking on some important improvements to our beloved, historic building.

This summer, thanks to the generosity of our Sangha and supporters of KMC SF, we will install a new ADA-compliant access ramp and side entrance, ensuring that all who wish to enter the Temple, regardless of mobility, may do so with ease and dignity. 

We will also update the building's siding and windows, preserving the integrity of our space, increasing its energy efficiency and protecting it for generations of practitioners to come.

These meaningful upgrades carry an estimated cost of $62,000 for materials and labor. 

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to completing this project on time and ensures that our doors remain open and welcoming to all.
