All our actions of body, speech, and mind are causes and all our experiences are their effects. The law of karma explains why each individual has a unique mental disposition, a unique physical appearance, and unique experiences. 

Mar 14:  Developing a Powerful Wish to Relinquish Suffering, Forever

Renunciation, a mind leaving behind suffering completely,  is the gateway through which we enter the path to liberation, or nirvana —the permanent inner peace attained through completely abandoning the confusion of self-grasping.

Mar 21 Abandoning the Causes of Suffering

Self-grasping ignorance is an inner poison that causes far greater harm than any outer poison. Because of being polluted by this inner poison, our mind sees everything in a mistaken way, and as a result we experience hallucination-like sufferings and problems.

In the Sutra of the Four Noble Truths Buddha says, ‘You should practice the path.’ In this context, ‘path’ does not mean an external path that leads from one place to another, but an inner path, a spiritual realization that leads us to the pure happiness of liberation and enlightenment.
