Like Going Home: Finding Peace with Death
If we prepare well for our death we will use our time in meaningful ways and avoid disturbing emotions at the time of death. We can even choose the place of our rebirth. When death comes we will feel like a child returning to a safe home and we will pass away gladly. In this special event, Guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Khedrub will guide us towards a new vision for a peaceful death by sharing Buddha's teachings and guiding us in mediation, including an optional guided meditation and walk in the beautiful Sunset View Cemetery.
What to expect in this talk:
- 10am - 11:30am: Talk and guided meditation
- 11:30am - 12:30pm: Walking meditation through cemetery
- 1pm - Lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards
- Everyone welcome.
