Stay Connected, Be Protected

The Power and Promise of Heart Jewel Retreat

January 31st – February 2nd

Good times or bad, we all need powerful spiritual protection to make the most of this precious human life.

Bringing our ordinary day to Heart Jewel makes our life extraordinary. We learn how to generate and enjoy pure, empowered states of mind that can meditate at much deeper levels. Transforming obstacles into opportunities, we gain the insights we need to progress on our own personal, spiritual path.

Heart Jewel reveals the power of relying on Buddha both as a teacher, Je Tsongkhapa, and as a protector, Dorje Shugden. These enlightened beings help modern practitioners by teaching us how to walk a spiritual path, and protecting us with the right conditions we need to flourish on it.

Increasing our understanding and reliance on these emanations increases our own understanding and reliance on our own Buddha nature. Our own innate pure potential for wisdom, love, and spiritual power.

This retreat will be illuminating and practical for anyone coming to the Center for a little while and interested in creating a regular, authentic Buddhist practice with good, stable results. It will invigorate and strengthen regular practitioners' connection and protection.

Each session will deepen our understanding of this essential Kadampa practice section by section, revealing its wisdom to improve our meditations, and create a life rich with meaning, purpose and power.

Although this is technically an advanced course, beginners are welcome to participate. If you are new to this practice or need more information, contact: epc@meditateinsanfrancisco.org
