The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability - December 8th - 11th

During this retreat we will explore the profound transference of consciousness practice called the Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability. This practice is unique to Vajrayogini Tantra and reveals a priceless instruction through which we can accomplish Keajra Pure Land in this life without abandoning our human body.

“Through this practice of the yoga of inconceivability we can reach the Pure Land of Keajra with this human body. When practitioners engage in this special transference of consciousness, their consciousness does not leave the body but goes to the Pure Land of Keajra together with this body. This is a special and uncommon quality of this Pure Land.” ~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

The retreat will include both guided and unguided sessions on the practice with an opportunity to gain practical experience.

PLEASE NOTE: This retreat is only for those who have received the Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment of Heruka Body Mandala and Vajrayogini or have the intention to receive Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment as soon as possible.

The Three Principal Aspects of The Path - December 15th - 18th

A deep dive into 3 essential psychological and spiritual tools that we need to transform every aspect of our life into our spiritual path, confidently and joyfully. No previous experience is necessary and everybody is welcome to any or all of the sessions.

One of the clearest presentations of the path to Enlightenment is a short poem called The Three Principal Aspects of the Path. This legendary brief poem was composed 600 years ago by the extraordinary Spiritual Guide and founder of the New Kadampa lineage, Je Tsongkhapa. In merely 15 verses, Je Tsongkhapa distills the vastness of the Buddhist stages of the path to enlightenment to three essential realizations, or experiential understandings.

Gen Choma will help guide us on a step-by-step spiritual journey to gain experience of these three understanding - renunciation, bodhichitta, and the wisdom realizing emptiness - based on the commentary by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in his most recent book, The Mirror of Dharma (with Additions).

Mahamudra: The Union of Our Own Great Bliss & Emptiness - December 22nd - 25th

Buddha explained many methods to liberate ourself and others from suffering. Of these, the uncommon instructions of Tantric Mahamudra of the Ganden Oral Lineage are an especially powerful way to purify our mind quickly and to reach our fullest potential, the supreme bliss of enlightenment.

During this retreat Gen Choma will give essential commentary on how to make progress on the five stages of Mahamudra with an emphasis on Heruka Completion Stage. Through listening to and meditating on these instructions, we will deepen our understanding and experience of this rare and precious lineage of teachings given by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in The Oral Instructions of the Mahamudra. These instructions are very blessed; how fortunate we are to have the opportunity to engage in this practice.

PLEASE NOTE: This retreat is only for those who have received the Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment of Heruka Body Mandala and Vajrayogini or have the intention to receive Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment as soon as possible.
