No Self, No Problem
May 16th, 2026 | 10 am – 12:30 pm
Location: KMC San Francisco 3324 17th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110
Open the door to limitless possibility by discovering the true nature of reality, emptiness.
Of all Buddha’s teachings, none are more far-reaching and transformative than these transformative teachings on selflessness.
Through increasing our understanding of emptiness, we can come to solve all our problems, live joyfully, and be of maximum benefit to others.
Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Choma, one of the country's most senior Kadampa Buddhist nuns and teachers, returns to her first workshop devoted exclusively to these precious wisdom teachings since last summer's unforgettable Interdependence Day.
When we realize the emptiness of our self, how self is merely self-image, we can live in our world lightly, having the flexibility of mind to respond to every situation in a constructive way – deeply engaged with everyone and everything around us from a spacious, compassionate perspective.
There will also be an optional, complimentary pizza party after to celebrate recent center developments sharing meditation in the Bay Area and beyond.
Everyone is welcome!
"Emptiness is the way things really are. It is the way things exist as opposed to the way they appear... There is no greater method for experiencing peace of mind and happiness than to understand and meditate on emptiness."
