Follow up retreat on Death and Dying: A Buddhist Perspective with Gen Kelsang Choma and Gen Kelsang Chogyop
Topic
Retreat on Life and Death
Awareness of our own mortality enriches and transforms our daily life. In each of the four retreat sessions we will be guided into special ways of thinking so that our life is deeply impacted and becomes fuller of meaning and joy.
In Great Beyond Sorrow Sutra Buddha says:
“When many different animals have been in a field and have left their footprints we see that it is the elephant who leaves the deepest footprint. In a similar way, when we have practiced many different meditations we will experience their effects; but it is the meditation on death that makes the deepest impression on our mind.”
