August 15:  The True Meaning of Life

What do we wish for, strive for or day dream about? What will never deceive us? Come ponder the meaning of enlightenment for yourself and others.

 

August 22: Fulfilling our Potential

In Buddhist teachings we find the method to ripen our seed to become a fully enlightened being. We realize our real potential for lasting happiness and being of benefit in our world.

 

August 29: Love More, Live Better

To follow the path to lasting happiness, enlightenment, there's no need to change our external lifestyle. We do not need to abandon our family, friends or enjoyment, and retire to a mountain cave. All we need to do is learn to cherish others.

About the Teacher

Gen Kelsang Choma, Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco

Gen Kelsang Choma is a senior Teacher and Buddhist nun with the New Kadampa Tradition of Modern Buddhism. She is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has studied extensively on the Teacher Training Program for over 30 years and is qualified to teach both Sutra and Tantra. She is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco and is invited to teach nationally. People enjoy her teachings for their clarity and warmth.
