When we first start to meditate, it is perfectly normal to experience distracting thoughts and feelings. We do not need to worry because all these distractions are the nature of the mind, and if you don’t follow them, they will simply dissolve back into the clarity of the mind. When we are meditating on the mind, if conceptual thoughts arise, we should simply remain still and watch them with one corner of the mind.
