Amitayus Prayers

Thursday, June 1st - Saturday, June 3rd

'Amitayus' means 'Infinite Life' and signifies that by relying on this holy being we will not only overcome the dangers of untimely death in this life, but eventually through Tantric practice attain the pure illusory body - a vajra body that is permanently free from ageing, sickness and death.

By engaging in the practice of Buddha Amitayus we also accumulate profound wisdom and extensive merit.

What to expect:

  • Introduction talk on the practice of Buddha Amitayus June 1st, 7pm - 9pm
  • Retreat June 2nd - 3rd
  • Chanted prayers
  • While this is an advanced retreat, everyone is welcome, including beginners
  • Retreat schedule coming soon
  • See other Kadampa Meditation Center's Amitayus Retreats around the world
